Practice Makes Better

Well we have all heard of the saying

“Practice Makes Perfect”

BUT I love this

“PRACTICE MAKES BETTER”

Well this did cause a bit of a stir, then the debate started.

The odd thing was this debate was taking place during an Aqua class that I was teaching, I will say a class of 22 women and 3 men so you can imagine how this was going to go. 22 women all with an opinion. One of the ladies was being corrected by another lady on one of the exercises that we were doing, (no names mentioned) then someone said come on practice makes perfect, so I stepped in and said “NO PRACTICE MAKESBETTER”

No Jan you got that wrong the saying is “PRACTICE MAKESPERFECT”.

BUT “I prefer PRACTICE MAKES BETTER what is perfect, who do we know who is perfect and if we ever get to perfection do we stop, does that mean we don’t have to keep trying, we don’t have to keep being better”.

Well I went on to explain where I read this and how the gentleman keeps encouraging his children to be better, to keep practicing to be better. Not to compare yourself to others, compare today with yesterday just keep striving to the best you can.

I believe that we can bring this into all walks of our life not just when you learning a new Aqua Exercise, if we can everyday in everything we do think PRACTICE MAKES BETTER wouldn’t we be better people, more helpful, more encouraging, and if you apply this to your health & wellbeing being, that has to be a win win for you.

Talk up your brand.

We did get through the Aqua class and even though we had a debate the great part was everyone was PRACTICING TO BE BETTER.

I DID HAVE TO POINT OUT WHAT MARY POPPINS SAYS

“PRACTICALLY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY”

NO ONE ARGUES WITH MARY POPPINS
