Now I call sugar Public Enemy No1
The reason that Sugar is Public Enemy No1 is that it is found in so much of our food which can have a negative impact on your general health.
I am not talking about the sugar you put in your tea, coffee, or on your cereals, this is the sugar you know you are adding to your daily food intake.
I am talking about the HIDDEN sugars, the sugars that are added to so many of our foods and in some cases we don't even know, they even add sugar to bread.
The guidelines say we should only be consuming 30g of sugar a day.
That is about 6- 7 teaspoons.
To find how much sugar they put in our food we need to get Label Savvy, we need to read those label, read those labels and yes read them again.
They never make this easy for us, the Problem is that on a lot of these labels they don’t just say SUGAR , Sugar can be called different names. In fact there are over 50 different ways to label up sugar, you may see on a label Glucose, Corn Syrup and so so many more.
So why is this Sugar so bad?
Well sugar causes inflammation so if you get joint pain, arthritis, taking in lots of sugar is going to cause you more pain, and when we get pain, we tend to stop doing activities, which has another negative impact on our general health.
As we all know, too much sugar can cause Type 2 Diabetes.
Have you ever asked yourself where the sugars goes if you don’t burn it up, well it goes into your fat cells.
So if you are someone who is looking to reduce size consuming too much sugar can slow down this process or even stop you achieving this goal
