Time always seems to be against us, whenever I coach someone the one of the reasons they struggle is time, or lack of it.
We never seem to have enough time, whether it's to prepare our food, plan our workout or actually cook or do a workout.
There always seems to be something else a lot more pressing that we have to do, a lot more important, and life seems to be so fast paced.
This is when I change things up and take a different stance.
Yes I walk outside but due to having a short time I decide to make it harder by wearing my weighted vest, and take a pair of dumbbells to not only carry but to use on route.
I change my rout and walk around a double rugby pitch. On the one side I did Hammer Curls and on the other side I do Tricep Press back. This means that my walk turns into a arms workout as well.
I cant make the time longer but I can make the time harder.
Living in Wales this often means that it’s raining before i set off or starts to rain during my walk, but I don’t allow the rain to put me off and will still get in a 30 minuet power walk.
Yes I look crazy, but the beauty of that is, that I don’t care lol.
To many they would have thought what is she doing, but to me it makes sense, use the time I have with the tools I got to achieve the goals that I need.
Oh and by the way walking in the rain is OK
