Do you ever find that you can talk yourself in and out of a situation, it is like having a debate with yourself, let's do something or let's not.
How many of us have ever dreamt about winning a gold medal, are you a competitive type of person, no matter what, you are going to go up against the competition and do everything you can to win, to be the number one standing on the Winners podium.
In our life there seems to be lies or misunderstandings everywhere, and I think there are so many in the health and wellbeing sector.
Do this and you will lose weight
Do this to get a toned body
If you don’t do this you will never hit your goal of weight loss
If you don’t do this you will never get a toned body
Then back it up with some sort of science.
Well wouldn’t it be great if life was how we planned it, we plan and it happens. Everyone is happy. Well in this real world that we live in that doesn’t happen, well not to me anyway
To grab food and go is so easy, to guess how much you are eating is so easy too, when we grab and go the amount that we grab always looks the same to us.
Now this is a debate!
Time always seems to be against us, whenever I coach someone the one of the reasons they struggle is time, or lack of it.
Do you ever feel you just want to get off the treadmill of life, maybe for a few minutes, an hour, or even a full day. If you could just step off take a seat in your favourite place, maybe your garden, a nice comfy chair at home, overlooking the sea or the mountain top wherever this place is that makes you feel calm and relaxed.
Why do we make life so complicated?
For some reason the more complicated the more we think we have to do it, as this is what will work for us.
Type 2 diabetes is a common condition that causes the level of sugar in the blood to become too high.
Now I call sugar Public Enemy No1
The reason that Sugar is Public Enemy No1 is that it is found in so much of our food which can have a negative impact on your general health.
Well the quick answer is how long you make it.
This is a numbers game again, we are just consumed and obsessed by numbers.

A statement that I have heard more than once
Well in fact no I don’t. I’m not saying I hate exercising, but I am human, a real woman living in the real world.
As we say goodbye to 2023 we all start to think about 2024, and what lays ahead.
Well the simple answer is I really enjoy it. Now I don’t only walk when I am feeling a bit down or stressed, having a bad day. I walk because as I said I really enjoy it.
